What is the FIRST Robotics Competition?
Lead Mentors:
Anne Kearns is a retired mechanical engineer with 30+ years as a civilian working for the US Navy. She has been involved in FIRST robotics since 2016.
"I got involved when my son started doing it and have just stuck with it. I love seeing the fun side of engineering. In my spare time I like to read, sew, travel, take care of my garden in the summer and go fishing."
Shawn Kilpatrick is an engineer for Boeing. He has been a mentor with the Ammoknights FRC team since 2022.
"I got involved in FLL with my kids and then continued into FRC. I like helping the kids turn their ideas into reality, and seeing them tackle problems with creativity. In my spare time I like to hang out with my family, hike, camp, boat, and build things."
