Lego Mindstorms
4-6 grade
Students will learn the basics of robotics and will work together in teams to build a Lego Mindstorms robot.
​
Vex Robots
7-8 grade
Students in this program will work in groups to build with the Vex Robot platform. These students will design their own robot to perform a given task.

4th-8th grade girls are invited and will need to bring a lunch.
Did you know that women only make up 20% of the engineering work force? Team 1566 is proud that our team is 40% female. The girls on Team 1566 would like to invite girls between the ages of 9 and 14 to our FREE Girls STEM DAY! Pack a lunch and be prepared to learn about the scientific method, designing and programming a robot, and even meeting with female engineers!
